But rather you’re in the heart of God...”

A friend once told me in a heated debate over my then-faithless state of being: “You lost your faith, and you’re hating me because I base my life on mine.”
To believe or not to.(Be).This is the question re-ignited this memory in my mind..and my thoughts rushed to me once again..
When did religion become a tool to call others faithless?
When did care and love for others give you a platform to hurt them and taunt them…?
How did we descend from lovers and friends to strangers and enemies?
Why did we morph spirituality and belief into wedging gaps between those who have it and those who can’t find it, or just have another understanding of it?
When did our self respect vanish?
How have mistakes become so decisive and final..How have they become the drawing line between good and bad..When did they stop being mistakes, and began being who we are.
When did good and bad become unanimous with right and wrong?
Why do we pass judgments and translate them slowly into truths?
you were born together
and together ye shall be forever
until death should scatter
it wouldn’t matter in the memory of God above
let the wind of heaven dance between you too…
just remember love possesses nothing
nor would it ever be possessed
oh love is love sufficient unto love
and you can figure out the rest…
your children will not be your children
they are the daughters and the son of a beginning
they’ll come through your womb but not be coming from you
they will be with you but do not belong to you
you may give them your love but not your thoughts
then they’ll arrive with their own hearts
they’re the coming of angels this blessed season
and then they’ll sing oh how God rests in reason
God rests in reason
think not you can direct the course of
love itself directs the course allowed
believe not God is in your heart, child
but rather you’re in the heart of God

what a beauty, this, your post!
I was always fascinated by your country, love Egypt!
and, with you writing so pleasantly, I am falling in awe of Egypt again!
WOW!
THANKS!
to belong and to know that you actually do...is just wonderful!
this sense of belonging makes you, me all happy, everywhere!
everyone does!
just keep looking!
and
till then...
keep writing!
It’s become such a self battle, but your words make me feel alot less alone.
Thank you
I am glad we bumped into eachother.I honestly thought I was just becoming a nutcase..I just can’t help but see things off..seeing it this way doesn’t let me stop searching..
The pieces have to be placed in a whole, but they’re not working..so I pick up a piece and ask questions, roll it over, ask some more..ponder and ask some more trying to get and give some understanding..Incredibly many times, afterwards, the piece falls snuggly and perfectly into posistion..Unfortunately you and I are very very small pieces of this puzzle..If only others would see it like us, we could line things up they way it was planned.
I never went to sleep last night, I stayed up and it’s now 1.30pm my time.
I think if we’re louder and more obnoxious about it:), then maybe others will start seeing it like us.
maybe it’s the pyramid common factor? :)
We have a long and lonely mission ahead of us...many many truths to find before we can make the peces fit..
Onward we march!
We are in the right spot. We want to share our thoughts, knowledge, and somewhat ”off the beaten path ideas” with the world...Here at IB the world is waiting for us. We can do it together, a bit everyday. I’m sure in time, although not anytime soon, we will look back and find many new pieces have fallen into line.

You have written a very thought provoking posts..thank you
I have a problem with religion because in the end, they all find a reason to oust humanism..
I know their is a higher power.I ’ve never seen it/Him/Them ..I know this power is still running the show..The world, as a masterpiece, surely wasn’t just created and placed on autopilot.
So, in the end..I don’t want to know where I came from, were we came from..
I think that is obvious..My concern is where we’re going...and if we’ll get there.
That’s why I prefer to search, gaining nuggets of truth from here and there and moving on..I don’t think there is need to stay in one place/religion too long..MY BELIEF is the same, and I don’t think any one can have ALL the answers.
So I wander..It’s kind of like working a puzzle backwards..If we take the world, His creation as the whole, I want to know the pieces..how they fit together...my biggest concern is, looking at the world, we as a global whole, have skewered the pieces in some way..
How can a perfect masterpiece be such chaos? Surely the ”maker” didn’t make a mistake..that again brings me back to my mission..my search..I think we can all agree, whatever religion, belief we may have that HE or a God is the creator ...
The master creation was not made this way..We are changing it..that is why Humanistic approaches can not be forgotten..We’ve got to continue seeking truths about one another, creating tolerance, common Beliefs, closing the gaps..so we can get the puzzle back together again. Making it WHOLE; thus have a chance at living the way it was meant to be.
