The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, invited Iranian Ambassador Hussain Ragby to discuss the recent Iranian movie about former President Anwar Al Sadat. Egypt expressed its concern over the movie, claiming it is “not good” for Egyptian / Iranian relations, and that it clearly shows that Iran is not aware of certain “Egyptian Sensitivities”
Note: I don’t think they give a damn about Egyptian Sensitivities!

The National Council for Medical Professions has agreed to issue a 20% raise in pensions of Doctors, Vets and pharmacists, taking their pensions up to 300 Egyptian pounds (56 Dollars) after it was 250. (46 Dollars)
The council exclaimed that the last raise to pensions dates back to October 2005, when pensions increased 20% going from 200 Egyptian pounds, to 250.

The National Council for Childhood and Motherhood is planning a campaign to address domestic problems and try preventing Family break ups. The council will be working with 200 families, teaching them ideal methods in fighting poverty, preventing domestic violence and protecting child rights. The campaign is to go on until year 2010, with the promise that an accurate feedback report be provided for each family targeted.

Cairo University honors Dr. Mohamed Al Baradei, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, for his efforts in preventing nuclear expansion and encouraging peaceful uses for nuclear energy, and also for winning the Noble Peace prize in 2005.

164 Justice experts are undergoing an intensive training in Copyright protection laws. This training program comes as a part of the country’s plan to develop and modernize. The program will help spread the importance of Copyrights and raise awareness of patent laws and property rights. The Ministry of Justice has already trained 450 experts, out of the original 2800 who stepped forward for the program.
Note: This is good too! Egyptians have NO idea about Copyrights.
