Funnily enough, there have been several articles in the French press about the treatment of Egyptian gays. Wonder why?

As far as lesbians are concerned, that is a typically hypocritical anti-gay men attitude. Worldwide.

Sure they don’t talk about lesbians!!

Because like many men all over the world, they’d just LOVE to get it on with a couple of hot lesbians!!

I didn’t know it was so extreme. In Mexico, times are changing a little bit, but it really depends on the State and Region. Mexico City, our nation’s capital seems to be the most legally accepting and understanding (along with various metropolitan areas, more culture allows more tolerance legally and individually), while, sadly, rural areas (and probably the better part of Mexico) still not only frown against homosexuality, but attack it from all sides.. with the Church and old Latin Machoism being always striking it’s ugly head in more than hateful attempts to denounce homosexuals.]]> ”Simple things like getting a day use by a pool at some hotel requires a marriage certificate or the same family name! ”

They’re constantly after prostitution, fornication, girls and boys caught making out or even just suspected of it (blackmail them with arrest to get bribes), they’re quite EVERYWHERE!

I’m sure you know what that means!

Although drugs are under the jurisdiction of another department, they still sometimes link the two together, especially when fishing for a bribe. If you’re interested, I recommend you watch one of Youssef Chahin’s most recent movies called ’Heya Fawda?’, A.K.A Le Chaos and Chaos.
It has a more or less accurate depiction of much of the corruption within the Egyptian Police Force, and ESP. the Moral Police.
